David Hendel, Managing Director of Durham AV takes pride in announcing the recent appointment of Patrick Doyle to the position of General Manager for our boutique, specialist audio visual company which has made its name for technical expertise combined with exceptional customer service since its formation in the 1970’s.

Doyle migrated to Australia in time for the 2006 Commonwealth Games when he assisted the delegation working on the 2014 Commonwealth Games bid for Canada. He then moved into a management position with the World Swimming Championships to produce the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Following, in 2007, Patrick commenced working for Australia’s largest audio visual company using his management skills and event experience successfully managing their Victorian operations, then becoming Regional Director of Venues in 2008. Many in the hospitality and events industries have experienced Patrick’s professionalism and friendly manner, always able to meet his valued client's’ individual requirements.
“Having excellent people is the key to our success and I invited Patrick to join our team at Durham AV, investing further in our venue, events and exhibition capabilities, which are our specialist markets” said David Hendel. “We are positioning ourselves perfectly for the anticipated period of increased activity and growth later this year” he said. “We have always worked on the principle of delivering technical expertise with very personal customer service which has proven to be a key reason for our continued stability and solid reputation.”
Patrick will lead well known Durham key personnel: Dino Trentin, Paolo Civitarese, Paul Webber, Chris Ooi and Shane Herbert into the next era for Durham AV, building strongly on existing relationships and expanding into new ones.

New MD Makes his Mark!
A smooth transition was the aim for departing founder Peter Durham when he handed over the reins of Durham AV to new owner David Hendel late last year. Working closely together, David and Peter ensured that the new ownership was seamless, and could only be described as a terrific joint effort by the two talented entrepreneurs.
